Loft Ladders

It's important to have safe access in to your loft. A wobbly old stepladder or chair isn't the way any of us should be trying to access our loft! During our survey, we'll measure your loft hatch and give you the best advice on which ladder is most suitable for your home. Our ladder range includes:

Aluminium Ladders

This aluminium, plastic and steel 5.3kg sliding ladder allows you to get into your loft safely and conveniently. It has three sections, folds down, is easy to store, and has slip-resistant rungs for safe, comfortable climbing. It extends from a minimum height of 1.3m to a maximum height of 3m; and will support a load of up to 150kg. Fixed into the inside of the loft, making it safe to store and retract whenever you need to access your loft.

Wooden Ladders

This timber wooden ladder allows safe and easy access to your loft, it comes in 3 sections that fold down easily and has proven to be one of our most popular loft ladders to date. It will support a load of up to 150kg with added slip-resistant rungs for extra stability and comfortable climbing. Our wooden ladders come factory finished as standard and are attached to a hatch mechanism, meaning your pre-existing hatch will be replaced.

Telescopic Ladders

A compact and convenient solution for accessing your loft. It’s made from strong yet lightweight aluminium and designed to extend smoothly to the correct height, then fold away neatly when not in use. The telescopic design makes it ideal for smaller loft hatches or areas where a traditional ladder wouldn’t fit.

With non-slip rungs and rubber feet for added grip, it offers safe and easy access to your newly boarded loft. It’s a great choice if you want something reliable, space-saving, and easy to use once installed.

Loft Hatches

Many Loft Hatch installers will simply cut of wood or MDF with a couple of hinges screwed in and use this as your loft door. While this is a cheaper option it is by no means the best option for the long term.

They are often uninsulated and do not meet any government recommended industry standards. An uninsulated loft doors will act as a funnel for heat to escape through.

This reduces the airflow within the loft. As a result, condensation builds up and can cause issues with damp. If your insulation gets damp it will not work correctly, the weight and water can cause damage to the ceiling beneath. If the wooden joists get damp, it could cost thousands to repair the damage.
